Girls Learning and Leadership Program
Girls learning and leadership programme (GLLP) from xxx 2020 to June 2022 to support adolescent girls maintain learning continuity during the covid school lockdown. The project identified interested school-going girls (GCs- Girl Champions) from the socially excluded and marginalized community to organize ‘Peer Learning Circles (PLCs)’ for young girls in their habitations.
National Youth Equity Forum
CSEI evolved the Youth Equity Forums (YEF) as inclusive safe spaces where young people from diverse marginalized communities converge, communicate and collaborate in their journey from ‘self to society’ affirming their identity, experiential learning, and appreciative inquiry.
Research and Advocacy
Between 2012-15, CSEI undertook the first-ever study of CLOs ‘Deepening Democracy and Development, supported by the UNDP, India. The study mapped 1000 CLOs across 9 states and further studied 175 to understand the rationale in initiating the CLO, core concerns, identified strategies, challenges, and success stories in sustaining the work.
